Grand Exchange near Ascot 2 bed with Parking

I booked this apartment only for it's location in downtown Bracknell.

1. It was impossible to park at spot #39 in the garage during the entire six days of our stay because somebody's car was always over the line. Seeking help from the host company was not successful—they advised me to deal with the building's concierge. My husband asked the concierges every day, but they could not help either and let us park at the guest parking outside the building (it was raining every day). 2. When we entered the apartment, the first thing we saw was a piece of paper trash on the floor and a plastic package on the kitchen counter. The host company was not impressed with my report on the issue; they responded that the premises had been inspected before our arrival. That was all. 3. When we wanted to have a glass of water, we discovered no water glasses in the kitchen cupboards - only 6 wine glasses and 6 coffee cups. we also realized that most plates needed to be washed. It was not easy to find cutlery under the hot hub (stove) as the drawer was not the usual (for us) type. After some struggle, we managed to find knives and silverware. 4. Lack of signs in general was very frustrating - as foreigners, we did not realize that to turn the towel warmer on in the bathroom you need to find the switch someplace outside the bathroom. 5. Our shower room had pronounced sewage order most of the time - it was not pleasant but the host did not react to our complaint. 6. The lamps on the bedstands of our bedroom were not connected, one of them has no lightbulb!!! it was very inconvenient, you can imagine! i send photos to the host office - no response! 7. The mattress was probably the cheapest in the market - flimsy and unstable. 150 cm wide (they say it is a standard double for UK). The pillows were strangely shaped (probably overused). All beddings (sheets, etc.) were of grayish color and very rough quality. The same about the towels - old, thin and grayish. No option for fresh towels for 6 days! we had to wash them ourselves.

Great location with parking

Some small points: - bin lid in kichen was broken - light bulb missing from one of bedside lamps - en-suite toilet a bit smelly - may be a plumbing issue - underwear from previous tenant left in wardrobe of second bedroom - blind pull in main bedroom needs to be reattached to wall

Was very clean and we had everything what we needed inside.

Patio full of pigeon droppings so we could not use it open window.
