Nicolas House #2 with Lake Atitlán View

Nicolas' apartment is nicely located in San Pedro, decently furnished, very comfortable. Host is very receptive and offer good advice on local sightseeing. location with nearby restaurants and agencies within walking distances, especially San Pedro being very well connected by shuttle to Antigua

A curtain for shower to keep bathroom dry would be nice addition

Great location. The host couldn’t have been nicer. When we arrived we had a hard time finding his place, and so he came down to get us which was very nice. Booking.com should’ve said where his place was located (right across the restaurant, “Sabina” - I think it was) Only two minutes away from where the transfer drops you off at. And he went out of his way to help us locate a restaurant that we really wanted to go to. Nothing was too much to ask.

I found a piece of paper in my bed signaling perhaps the bedding was not washed. It grossed me out. The shower was super slippery that I fell backwards and hit my head, just be careful. The view wasn’t all it was said to be… If you overlooked other rooftops and a lot of cables, then I guess it was OK.

Loud, near building under construction so there were noises at late, it is close to party bars so a lot of music loud at night. But i was able to feel asleep:)

Amazing view of the lake, safe (albeit lively - bring ear plugs) neighborhood, very well equipped apartment with fully stocked kitchen (even had oil and salt), extremely clean and comfortable bed and mattresses, very convenient location that was walking distance to the piers, restaurants, and tour agencies/hotels that you can book activities with. The host was very kind and polite, and recommended very well priced food, transportation and tour options. The host was also accommodating in allowing the guest to leave luggage in the apartment before and after check in and check out times.

The property manager was extremely kind and helpful. I had a payment issue and he was very understanding and went the “extra mile” to help me with something else I needed too. 11/10 service! What a legend! The location was excellent, excellent value for money, good views of the lake from the balcony and inside. I sat and watched the lake in the afternoon, which was very nice. Very happy stay! Great space, so refreshing after a long time travelling.

The bar across and just up road plays their music until exactly 11:30pm each night, and the shops nearby also start up their music around 7/7:30am, but I got used to it quickly and with ear plugs it wasn’t too much of an issue. One extra thing that could be added is an oven mitt or tea towel of some kind for when using the kitchen, but it wasn’t a big deal at all.

We highly recommend this apartment if you’re looking to stay in San Pedro. The apartment is large, has everything you could need, and is close to the port. Also, the view from the balcony is stunning!!
