Scandinavian Apartment Hotel - Lunden 1 - Central 3 bedroom apartment on two floors

Great location. Nice flat. Washer and dryer. Bed comfortable. Host very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment looked good on the surface. The neighbourhood is also nice.

In the morning of our arrival I got a message from the host saying that he expected two adults and two 3-year old children. Our booking confirmation fronm booking.com said two adults and two children without any mention of age. When I answered that we wanted to add another adult and that our children were 15 and 13 year old, the host asked for a much higher price than agreed. This offer was unacceptable, so the rest of my family decided to stay in a 4-star hotel instead, which was much cheaper. I planned to stay alone in the apartment for five days in order to save costs of another hotel room. When I arrived at the apartment, I was met with a strong smell of mould, even though two windows were open. I stayed for one night with the windows open, but decided to check out in the morning, as my eyes and nose itched from the poor indoor climate. There were no curtains in the bedroom, so I woke up from the sun shining into the room before 6 a.m. We had rented an apartment with three bedrooms, but two of them were locked. The host also threathened me to cancel the contract if I had any visitors in the apartment. I also have to mention a few other things. The entrance and staircase was terrible and in a great need for renovation. Also, I could not find any smoke detectors int the apartment. Take my advice and stay away from this host and apartment.
