Close to the main center but you have to go through dark alleys to get there. Very comfortable and clean

I did not like the entryway. It looks abandoned. No lights until you find the switch. You can hear everything in all the apartments.

1. The room is very comfortable and clean, the decoration can demonstrate the host is art driven, 2’ the funiture is well precisely art style, the painting is real one, red sofa is very comfortable like art products

Beautiful, cozy apartment, tastefully decorated (every piece has a story to tell), in a wonderful location to visit the amazing Ortigia, right in the historical center, with a nice small balcony with a beautiful view (2nd floor). Air conditioning in both bedrooms and in the living room (really needed end-July) and all windows equipped with blinds to close during the day. Secure underground parking (extra cost) literally 1min walk from the apartment, with the possibility to unload the luggage at the apartment building. Very responsive and kind host, although we didn't meet (self-check-in), offering all details in advance and leaving for us all the necessary amenities in the apartament (water in the fridge, coffee pods, laundry detergent, toiletries, etc). The washing machine had an issue on the 2nd day and even though it was a Sunday, the host found a technician to fix it by evening and offered to extend our check-out time the next day to make sure our laundry dries before we leave. Really loved our stay and would gladly return!

The host kindly prepared a 3rd bed for us in one of the bedrooms for our 12 year old, yet it was very stiff and hard (on the floor), difficult to sleep on if not used to it. Note the building is old and charming, but with no elevator (apartment at the 2nd floor with double flights of stairs, so a bit of a workout if carrying heavy luggage).

The location was perfect, the Space is beautiful and complete. Quiet and always aware of our needs. Very recomended.
