Clover 2900 - Apartment and Rooms with Private Bathroom near Washington Ave South Philly

The bed was fairly comfortable. Bathroom was well cleaned and taken care of.

The wi-fi was terrible. ‘Cut out intermittently making it difficult to report any issues or organise routes and flight check-out.

It was quiet and the hosts were nice.

The carpet was dirty.

An employee came in our room and stole from us thinking we would report our weed being taken, the bed was falling apart literally, no tv just a bed and chair in room, we could smell the bathroom because our room was next to the window and the smell came in where the ac was put in our window. I wouldn't rent again I'll go back to hotels. We left two days early cuz we couldn't take it.

I highly discourage staying at this place. I came to Philadelphia to visit a friend, and since I had a lot of things I planned for the daytime, I only needed a cheap place for the night. Prior to my arrival, I was asked to make a security deposit of $104. A few days after the stay, I called to inquire when I could expect my security deposit back. Gracie, the contact person for Clover 2900, told me I would have smoked in my room and therefore wouldn't get the security deposit back. After I told Gracie that I don't smoke and a few ridiculous arguments back and forth, she changed the accusation and claimed I left trash in the room. She had a picture ready with items left in the room I've never seen before. After a fruitless discussion, I contacted Booking.com directly. The customer service was super helpful and reached out to the apartment owners. Shortly after, Gracie texted me, apologizing and explaining that there was a mistake on their end and that I could expect the $104 to be transferred withing the next 15 days. After 15 days, I still didn't receive the security deposit and contacted her again. Ever since, I'm put off with different excuses such as the case was currently processed by the finance department, with changing names of the person who replies. Bottom line: Expect to not only spend the overnight cost plus cleaning fee, but also another $100 as security deposit you never see again. For that amount of money, you find much better places in Philadelphia, with nicer amenities and facilities.
