Crimson Resort and Spa - Mactan Island, Cebu

The hotel is really nice, smells good, clean, pretty quiet, cosy but in the same time full of life and the staff was really great, always ready to fulfil any wishes.

The only negative thing I can say it’s that the gym was really tiny, with not a lot of options.

Breakfast was excellent, although the dinner buffet had a fairly limited selection. The staff were polite, friendly, and always helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. I had one of the best sleeps in a while. The kids’ pool and infinity pool were both fantastic, especially early in the morning before it got too busy. The beach itself was quite rocky, so we didn’t end up using it at all. The kids really enjoyed the play area, and I loved the daily newsletter left at the front door each morning with all the activities listed for the day. We didn’t use the free shuttle service to the city as it only runs once or twice a day. Instead, we used the Maxim app for taxis, which worked well. There are no shopping centres or shops within walking distance, so you do need to rely on taxis to get around. Overall, we really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet, the kids’ play area, and spending mornings by the pool.

We would have loved to invite our extended family to join us for the day if the day-use price had included a lunch buffet.

Fantastic resort with exceptionally friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything felt easy and comfortable, especially when traveling with younger children.
