IEA trans tranquil location but close to the main attractions of Siena. Sofa bed worked fine. Supermarket very nearby. The kitchen was well equipped and also has a washing machine.
IEThere are so many positives about this apartment. The owners really went above and beyond to make sure I was settled in and comfortable. I am so appreciative of all of their help (thanks!), and even the neighbours in the building were offering suggestions about what to do. The location is great. The main tourist sites are about a 10 - 15 min walk, plus there are some lovely local spots to grab a bite to eat. Also, there is a small grocery store less than 2 min away. For anyone who is planning to go to the Palio, this is the spot. The apartment is located by where many of the Snail contrada local events happened. It was amazing to see all of this during the few days I was there in addition to the races. It made the Palio more fun than I can describe. Also, the owners have thought of everything (at least for me) that needs to be in the apartment. They have incorporated everything into the layout that is there. They also provided suggestions about where to eat and related details about the apartment. The communication was great. Finally, the location is quiet, so there were no issues with noise despite the many celebrations happening in the area. Is this somewhere I would book again - yes.
The matress on the bed is OK (I have a bad back and slept ok), although I think a matress topper would make it even more comfortable.
PTIt was very comfortable ,clean and well kept. Compact yet had all the necessary facilities , especially a lovely good size terrace. It was in a very central location for seeing all of Siena and its beauty yet peaceful. A welcoming flexible hostess.
Maybe putting the bed / settee up And down but was comfortable in both modes. So very acceptable.
