North Beach Heights Tenby, No 6 Newton Croft

Very homely, comfortable apartment. Amazing views of North beach and Tenby Harbour. Easy walking distance into Tenby town. Comfortable beds. Great facilities within the apartment. Including lots of board games, TV, games console (not used by us, but they were available). Spotlessly clean.

The apartment is located at the top of a 4 storey building with no lift access. It was not a problem for us, great for the step count!! However if you have mobility issues it would be a problem. There was no welcome pack/ book, to advise us of the local attractions or recommend places to eat, WiFi passwords etc... It would have been helpful to have something like this. I did message the owner regarding the WiFi and it was quickly resolved with a prompt reply.

The location is spectacular, the apartment itself was good equipped. We knew it was at the top of a steep staircase so it was ok for us. Unfortunately the entrance area and the living room is plagued by a pungent smell of garlic, the sofas are practically impregnated by the smell, this makes it very difficult to relax and enjoy the spectacular view.

Views are stunning, flat is very comfortable and decorated beautifully. We had a great week here.

There is an overriding permanent smell of garlic in the flat! There are tiny little things that could be so helpful and I think are standard in self catering these days - an oven glove, spare loo rolls, spare bin bags, tablets for the dishwasher, leaving the welcome booklet where it can be seen, somewhere for toiletries in the shower, the instructions on finding the flat made clearer.

What a location - views out over Tenby North beach and town, friendly seagull who sat out the window and kept us company! really nice apartment - beautifully furnished.

Stairs a bit of a mission but worth it for the views. Washing machine malfunctioned but the hosts were really nice and going to replace it.
