Fairytale STAYcation - JACUZZI, BOAT & SAUNA

Unglaublich schöne Lage mit fantastischen Blick, weit abgelegen von jedem Ort. Prima Ausstattung mit wirklich allem, was es braucht, gute Betten.

Location is so beautiful with a clear-watered lake and mountains on the background. Computer desktop in real life. Cabin has big windows in main living room area with see-through shades so you can enjoy the views and keep sun from overheating the cabin. There are couple other cabins near by but trees and cabinet itself provide enough privacy. Jacuzzi and boat are cherries on the top for very well equipped cabin. Also there were some updates made that were not shown in photos such as jacuzzi has a wooden frame with a roof. Even incineration toilet (toilet that burns the end product) was pleasant to use. It actually reduces the amount of odors in the bathroom. Clever solution to save water and handle the waste. There was just two of us and a dog travelling so we were first hesitant about paying for not needed extra space but it is worth paying premium for the luxury. We could have stayed for extra night or two if price was little lower. Having said that for sure pricing is understandable as cabin can accomodate 8 to 12 persons so why to rent it for two with lower price if not necessary.

Basically cabin and the location is clearly 10 but there are just small adjustments and fine tuning to make it 10+. There was no instructions on-site but host shared some important info prior to arrival and was really quick at answering questions. So this isn't really a negative point. The couple of last steps leading to the pier have little bit disappeared within the grass and are not even easy to spot at first. Someone with restricted mobility may have difficulties entering the pier. Maybe a railing would be useful to help with last steps. There is no cooling system for the hot summer days but keeping see-through electric window shades down helps with a temperature. In warm July day it was first quite hot to sleep in bedroom. Next night we decided to move matress from a bedroom to more spacious living room to have better night sleep.

Very nice and always more accessible host who is very uncomplicated and solution-oriented.

Very cozy apartment with a nice view of the mountains. It is a very remote place which is the best condition to see northern lights. And yes we saw the northern lights. We were very lucky to stay at this Winter Wonderland. It was nice to have a sauna at this beautiful place. Our Host Joakim was very kind and helpful. We had more than enough wood for the oven to have a warm and cozy atmosphere. We would even come back in summer to relax here.

The Sauna could be a little bit hotter but was still nice to relax there. Don't forget to bring your Sauna fragrance with you. The toilet is a lil bit special but you get used to it.

Cell phone service is bad between mountains, but wifi was good!
