Fox Lodge at Heygates Lodging - with hot tub

Amazing stay at Fox Lodge for my husband's 30th Birthday. We had such a lovely relaxing time in the lodge and hot tub. Despite the weather not being fully on our side this weekend we had a great time. Lots of r&r that was well needed in our busy lives. Graham was a great host who was very responsive and nothing was too much trouble - including the little birthday balloons& banners and snacks he left for us. The lodge itself is well equipped, clean, warm and welcoming. Bed comfortable and hot tub lovely. All in all a great stay Thanks Graham and team. Anyone looking to book won't be disappointed.

Secluded location lovely lodge amazing hot tub even though January had most amazing time sat under a blanket of stars in a steaming hot tub

The hot tub was an excellent addition to the lodge, along with the fire pit and inside fire. The lodge was fully equipped with everything we needed (milk, butter, eggs, cups, plates, towels, big shower, robes, space, oven and induction hobs) our hosts Graham and Allison were attentive and friendly. Graham welcomed us and showed us evening we needed to know and didn’t hesitate to come back and show us when we needed it, this was excellent and helpful! The lodge exceeded what we expected and we had a wonderful stay, we will 100% be back :)

The only fault we found is the fact that there wasn’t much light around the hot tub / left side of the lodge at night!

Very friendly host, lots of helpful recommendations! The deli down the road was fantastic! A very peaceful and relaxing way to spend a weekend in the summer. The cabin had everything you needed. Would happily come back!

Graham is a lovely, helpful and very funny man who was more than happy to help us when we needed, provided a beautiful stay for us, and was so kind to share us some history of the area and show us his authentic trench club (my partner and I are history buffs!). The scenery was lovely, peaceful, and there's nothing like watching a night time eclipse beside a fire🥰

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Graham pulled out all the stops for us. We didn't even need to bring milk as that was also provided 😁

a privacy screen type thing next to hot tub would of been ideal

Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, genuinely one of the best stays we've had. Location is secluded and tranquil, great place to unwind and take a break. 100% will return.
