Tous les messages reçus de Booking étaient en espagnol. N’étant pas hispanophones c’était compliqué ! Arrivé devant l’appartement le digicode ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons du attendre que quelqu’un sorte pour entrer dans le hall. En regardant les messages j’ai vu qu’il y avait un lien pour l’ouverture du portail. Je devais donc m'assurer tous les jours d’avoir de la batterie sur mon tel afin d’ouvrir le portail d’entrée! Pas évident ...Dans le hall nous avons trouvé un groupe de français également en difficulté pour trouver leur appartement. Le nôtre était le 55 hors dans les étages les appartements étaient identifiés avec des lettres ( et non des chiffres !). C’est en relisant tous les messages (en espagnol) que j’ài trouvé (écrit en petit) l’etage et le numéro de l’appartement! Il nous aura fallu du temps pour accéder à cet app sachant qu’il n’y avait plus personne a l’accueil à notre arrivée. Sinon l’emplacement est top, en plein milieu du quartier Latina, avec le méga marché des brocanteurs le dimanche ! Une superbe découverte de Madrid.

Great location, huge property

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la ville, proche d’un métro. Spacieux (nous étions 7), lits confortables. Climatisé.

Le bruit occasionné par les autres occupants. Le manque d’ustensiles dans la cuisine.

Unfortunately the only thing I can rate high is the location. Our experience with Variosmundos company was terrible. Just being in the plane I received the message that we will not get the apartment that we booked (officially- because of the bedbugs left by the previous guests) and it will take few days (it means all the time of our stay there) to clean and fumigate the apartment. They offered us the different one with some discount. Unfortunately, the new one was very small (3 bedrooms instead of four, one with the door all the time open because the bed was blocking the door), dirty with black spider webs, called “interior” which meant that the windows were facing the opposite building by around 5 meters. And this is not the end - we were told that the next day we would have to move to the same kind of place one floor up. Immediately after seeing this we informed the manager and booking.com that we would not stay there and wanted to be relocated. And now the procedure began: Variosmundos told us that we can move out and find anything on our own and they will refund the costs. They told us also that we can be relocated by booking.com; but “it takes more than 10 hours and they often leave the clients on the street waiting for it”. The booking.com contact person told us that first they have to contact Variosmundos to get confirmation that they can’t give us our previously booked apartment and then they can think about relocation. Of course, Variosmundos didn’t answer their phones- at the day of arrival and also the next days. We arrived at 10pm during a heavy rain in Madrid, two families with kids. Around 2am we decided to spend a night in the apartment and we moved out the next morning, found a hotel and paid for it. The next conversations with booking.com were the same- “we can’t do anything as we couldn’t contact Variosmundos”.

Very good value for price. Central location, near metro, easy to find. The guide how to enter and self check-in was understandable easily. Rooms spacious, almost every room had AC, but the ones without it were too hot. 8/10

Wifi was not working, no hairdryer, not enough cutlery and dishes for 9 people.
