CityPad2 Stylish City Centre 2BR Apartment with Free Parking & WIFI

Lovely property with everything we needed it was a very pleasant suprise and very well organised a great treat was 2 ensuites

The area was a little rough and very noisy in the evening with youngsters shouting ,and messing around, cars and motorcycles razzing past were noisy too, apartment on the 2nd night may of had children as someone was running around at 10 30ish until nearly midnight.

It’s a fine apartment straight out of IKEA. It was comfy enough.

They charge a £200 deposit even for a 2 night stay when nothing in that place is worth £200. Also, the washing machine is only a washing machine despite the description saying it was washing/drying, and there was no drying rack even when we requested one. Last the trash is right in the main entry hall and smells the pace up something fierce, although the apartment itself smelled fine.

I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the city center, with many restaurants, shops, and cafés nearby. Everything I needed was within easy reach, which made my stay very convenient. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again

When we arrived, we were met with ongoing, significant construction work directly opposite the building (see picture). The works pause in the evening, but then the neighbourhood noise begins. We experienced strong smells of cannabis, loud conversations, and shouting throughout the night. By 7.30am the construction resumed, bringing drilling, engine noise, and more shouting from the workers. This was not a one-off and, based on earlier reviews, has been going on for some time. The property owners do not disclose any of this noise in their listing, which I find disappointing and misleading. The noise seriously disrupted our sleep and, combined with the smells of rubbish and cannabis in the area, made for a very unpleasant stay. Guests should be made aware of this in advance. The Gad Suite itself has its flaws. On arrival, we were met by a strong bin smell, with refuse bins stored directly outside the front door in the corridor. Inside, the oven still contained burnt food from a previous guest, and there was leftover food in the cupboards, which raised questions about cleanliness. The windows have been opaqued which felt enclosed. An en-suite bathroom had a persistent smell of stale smoke. The badly constructed bannister on the staircase is a painful finger trap. The welcome pack, consisting of just one tea bag for three adults staying two nights, felt careless and unwelcoming. I could list more but other reviews highlight significant flaws (No space in the toilet, design issues for older adults etc). Outside, Vere Street was heavily littered. We had to step into the road to avoid piles of rubbish. The mix of restaurant waste, construction debris, and other unpleasant mess created a dreadful first impression of the area. The very antithesis of a ‘holiday’ destination. In other reviews, the hosts have responded by claiming that many of these issues are out of their control.

Loved how local everything was And easy it was find. Pet friendly and had everything you needed. My daughter said the bed was perfect she didn't want to leave

Apartment as itself ok although the beds are small double bed and for two adults it’s not comfortable, extremely noisy from outside and from upstairs apartment banging from early morning . Apartment smelt of cigarette.
