CityPad2 Stylish City Centre 2BR Apartment with Free Parking & WIFI

The apartment was clean in the main Fairly well equipped. But only 2 mugs for up to 4 people. I would say it is suitable for 2 rather then 4 people

There wasn't any written instructions for anything, being an older couple, all the technology didn't come easy for us. The ceiling light in the second bathroom wasn't working. The mattress in the main bedroom didn't have a protector on it and was stained with urine and blood, which was visable through the bottom sheet. Alot of noise from the upstairs apartment through the night.

Super clean and the staff is very good at communicating. Close to all city center and lots of shops and restaurants near the property.

(There was no breakfast, and the provisions did not even contain a single teabag) I like the fact that at check-in the hosts, who were not at the property, made no attempt to collect the full fee that was payable at check-in, and have not made any such attempt since. As the property did not meet building safety standards, this was the only honest response, but if they were to send me photographic evidence that they have effectively addressed the issue in question (I will say how to in the next section), I would happily pay them in retrospect my half of the fee (using a different credit card from that whose details were harvested by booking.com), as, in spite of the litany of failures on their part, we had, thanks to the kindness of neighbours in "Flat 2" (not rented out by Koya) in giving us access to their internet so we could get the correct entry code, so we did not have to have to spend the first night of our stay on the tiles, in the end, quite a reasonable stay.

Entry codes were only going to be available 15 minutes before check-in time and they promised online to send me them on my mobile, as, once I was on the move to get there, I would not have access to the booking.com website on which this information is to be found. This undertaking was not kept, and, furthermore, they clocked off a good half-hour before the end of check-in time, so it was not possible to get the correct information from them by phone, and it was only thanks to the kindness of neighbours in giving me access to their internet connection that I was able to get access to the accommodation on the first night at all (as it was, it was a full hour before we were able to get in). The wifi code they gave us online was inaccurate - fortunately it was possible by trial and error, to find the right code. The property spiel led us to expect a good provision of ingestibles on arrival. What we found was, however, only a few sachets of instant coffee, milk, various kinds of sugar, and a few biscuits, not even a teabag. The property is listed as "Flat 1" - This is a complete misnomer. It is, in fact a two floor apartment, the two floors being linked by a somewhat narrow, somewhat steep, but straight staircase. The bannister is fine at the bottom, but when you reach the wall of one of the upper rooms, there is insufficient space between it and the wall to get even a finger through. This is, rightly, a breach of building safety regulations. I suggested to them that they could replace the bannister by a brass pipe at this point, but less destructively, they could fit above the existing bannister an extra thinner stretch of bannister, of whatever material, to the wall and/or to the top of the existing bannister with sufficient clearance between it and the wall to get your hand round - Think about it, Koya! It was a mercy that, at 80, I didn't fall down those stairs.

The accommodation was clean, small rooms and bathrooms.

The surrounding area was dirty and not pleasant

Excellent contact from the property manager, very clean and quiet property.

Somewhat dirty area of town, this was on us as we had not been to Cardiff before.

The location is excellent, located next to the city road, which provides many options for restaurants and cafes. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary. And the host is very helpful

Amazing host, self Access and check in. Apartment was furnished very well and equipped with the latest appliances and technology.

Toilet space is tight right in front of a wall. Can get loud at night due to surroundings and loads of students and car noises.
