We’ve stayed here many times before.we come back because we know that the rooms (upgraded) staff and food are good.

A beautiful room...clean and comfortable and attractive.

The chef doesn't know how to cooka rare sirloin ! The grill /griddle/pan whatever was not hot enough. The steak was an unappetising grey colour...no caramelization/ charring on the outside which greatly enhances the flavour. A much hotter surface would still have allowed the steak to be served RARE...which it was not!! And not seasoned before service. Very below average !!

The food is good quality and choice , the staff are very freindly. Of us it is in a good location.

What you'd expect from a pub chain. Staff pleasant and helpful.

The hot drinks supplies in my room needed topping-up; not generous, just adequate. Property close to a roundabout on A57 so I expected it to be much noisier than it was.
