Muy cómodo y bien ubicado

Jou was very nice both at arrival and departure. Nice balcony, enough to have comfortable meals. Available wifi, as the area has poor internet. Near the beach and with parking slot (very very small).

Apartment had a bad smell from day one and overall was not very clean. We could not open our air conditioning at the bedroom because it had a problem and it smelled really really bad when activated. It was very hot at the bedroom without AC. I did not like that we were charged €200 at arrival as a deposit without being in the booking contract (returned as we treated everything very well). Also, they wanted to charge us a touristic fee higher to what the regulation asks for, to get additional profit.

La ubicación es muy buena, con fácil accesibilidad a la playa. Lo que más me sorprendió fueron las instalaciones, domótica, buenos cerramientos y aire acondicionado, imprescindible en unos días de calor sofocante.

Our 10-night stay in this 2-room apartment was unfortunately quite disappointing. A few key issues really impacted our experience: • Hidden fees: After confirming our booking, we were informed afterwards about unexpected extra charges for check-in after 8:00 PM and check-out after 10:00 AM. This should have been clearly communicated upfront. • Security deposit: At check-in, we were asked to pay a €200 deposit, which was not clearly mentioned before. • Tourist tax confusion: We were charged €40 for 2 persons for 10 nights, with the explanation that the tax had increased after July 1. However, local regulations cap this tax at 7 nights, even at the higher rate. This felt dishonest. • No welcome package: Despite advertising a dishwasher and drying rack, there were no basic supplies like detergent, dishwashing tabs, or dish soap. Not even a roll of toilet paper was provided. A poor start to the stay. Additional issues: • Overpriced for the quality: At €160 per night, this apartment is overpriced for what you get — even considering the location. The overall quality does not match the rate. • Poor furnishings: The apartment is very basic, and signs of wear and cheap quality are already visible. The IKEA-style dining chairs are so uncomfortable that we avoided using them. • Weak WiFi: The internet was unreliable on the terrace and in the living area. The router is not even located in the apartment itself. • Low-quality kitchenware: The pans had no non-stick coating left, making cooking frustrating. • Insufficient towels: We received only 1 large and 1 small towel per person, plus 1 dish towel and a beach towel — for 10 nights. This meant frequent laundry, which should not be necessary on holiday. • Poor bathroom design: The bathroom floor gets soaked after each shower, and there was no bath mat provided — we had to use one of our small towels. Ventilation is weak, and moisture damage is clearly visible in the bathroom ceiling.

Modern & well equipped. Parking a bonus - very tight though. The beaches and coves in and around near Sa Riera are fantastic.

Ants. Pointed them out during depart. I’m sure it’ll be easily remedied.
