Ca'd Felice - La tua casa nelle Langhe

The house is spacious, the terrace is large (ample for dining outside) & the pool is small but cool (and not heated). Fully wheelchair-accessible & with one bed+bathroom (both large) on ground (=access) level. Dedicated airco in every room, though we didn’t use it — we stayed one week in early Oct, 20-23 C. Morning sun (=from 10h, in Oct!) only on the relatively smaller side terrace, sun on the large main terrace+pool from afternoon until 18:30h, dark at 20h (terrace faces northwest). Kitchen fully equipped, huge fridge+freezer, two (fast) induction cooking stoves, coffe/tea etc for first day is in stock. Dishwasher & washing machine. Furniture (Ikea) a bit Spartan. Ceiling-lamps-only (plenty, almost too much) in living room, so we added 3 table lamps from Action.com (in Alba) and left them at the house. Eduardo was a great host & always online. 10-15min drive (=20-30 vv) to nearest supermarket in Alba, road perfectly fine. Oh, and of course: that absolutely magnificent unobstructed panoramaview on Rodello+Alba (1+8km) and some Alp tops (when clear, 150km)

For a new/renovated house, it was somewhat more noisy than we had expected, but effectively it didn’t bother us all that much. (Though mileage may vary with your yelling young kids…) IF the weather (too hot/cold/wet) would keep you inside, the only window in the living room is the (double) entry door, which is definitely smaller than you’d want under such weather conditions, since it seriously narrows down the outside panoramaview. (The kitchen window is above the sink and located too high to view through when you’re seated inside.) The ceiling lamps in the living room can only be switched on all at once, there’s no possibility to either dim them, or switch-on only some and keep some other ones off.

Det var et koselig sted med fantastiske rom med tilhørende bad. Bra utstyrt kjøkken med flott utsikt.

Det var ikke noe naturlig stuedel, men det var ikke noe behov for det heller, da vi stort sett satt ute.

Slaapkamers waren mooi en groot en aangrenzende badkamer ook prima. Uitzicht in de verte was mooi (maar niet conform beschrijving).

Ligging veel slechter dan verwacht (net niet in het dal). De mensen hadden slimme foto's gemaakt. Zeer kwalijk is dat het huis als 'villa' wordt aangeboden (=groot vrijstaand huis), maar dat is het niet. Het is een twee-onder-één-kap waarvan het buurhuis een aftandse boerderij is. Verder zou er uitzicht op de tuin zijn, maar er is helemaal geen tuin. het terras grenst aan landbouwgrond, te weten een notenboomgaard waarin de mensen de hele tijd aan het werk waren (liepen veel achterlangs ons terras, over hun eigen grond, dus weinig privacy). Keuken was zeer minimaal uitgerust. Welgeteld één middelgroot keukenmes, zeer weinig overig keukengerei en niet eens een ovenschaal. Toen wij vroegen waar die was bleek dat ze niet eens wisten wat een ovenschaal is. Ze waren bereid een paar pizza-borden te brengen in plaats daarvan.... Woonkamer is er niet echt. Bij koud weer eet je in de keuken, waar twee niet bepaald comfortabele banken staan en een secretaire om het op een woonkamer te doen lijken. Erg duur huis voor wat je uiteindelijk krijgt.

Prachtig verbouwde woning in de Langhe met uitzicht op de Rodello en Alba, in de nabijheid van tal van bezienswaardige dorpen en stadjes. Zeer goed uitgeruste keuken, airconditioning, zwembad. Zeer vriendelijke en gedienstige host.

Dat we bijna tweemaal betaalden door een verzoek van Booking om betaalgegevens te bevestigen. Gelukkig werden we net op tijd door de eigenaars op de hoogte gebracht van hacking van hun site.

Posto meraviglioso, la casa curata e tenuta bene e il proprietario disponibile e gentile. Nulla da dire se non ECCELLENTE.

Tutto perfetto.

Rigtigt dejligt sted oppe i bjergene. Fred og ro, og en skøn udsigt. Huset har alt det man skal bruge.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Ca’ d Felice villa. Everything was just perfect. Villa is clean, new and very beautiful. The host, Francesca, is so kind and super helpful ❤️ The location is good and the view is just amazing. The best villa where we have ever been. We will definitely return! ❤️

A beautiful house with a pool, the perfect place to relax. The view from the patio is beautiful! The area is ideal for walking and cycling, and you’ll find several bike rental options in the nearby town of Alba. The owners were very helpful and always responded quickly via WhatsApp.
