We loved the location and the fact it had everything we needed. It was perfect for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

The hot tub had a broken piece on one side and the stairs were quite steep. Some of the decor was a bit dated but none of these things stopped us enjoying our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful self-catering property in the heart of Tewkesbury. The location was surprisingly peaceful despite being so central, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. We were warmly welcomed with a lovely bottle of homemade gin, which was such a thoughtful touch! The hot tub and BBQ were definite highlights and both made for relaxing evenings after a day out. The property was well-equipped and had plenty of charm, with just a couple of small points worth mentioning: the egg chair could do with a good clean, and the stairs are a bit steep, so something to keep in mind for anyone with mobility concerns. Although there’s no designated parking, we found it easy enough to park on the street overnight (5pm-9am with an hour one side or the other) , and the nearby car parks are affordable and convenient (£2 for 3 hours max in st Mary's lane car park.) The owners’ dogs were also a delight as they were calm, friendly, and added to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a brilliant stay and we’d definitely come back!

The steepness of the stairs but they were fine if you held on to the railings, although my son who isn't great with stairs shuffled down them initially. The egg chair outside couldn't be used due to not being cleaned but the hot tub more than made up for it.

The most wonderful location in the middle of Tewkesbury . Plenty of space and very well equipped. We liked the new oven and dishwasher . Friendly and helpful hosts. Nice bedroom and comfortable bed. Lots of thoughtful touches - love the chandeliers. Big living room . Nice big table to eat at in the large kitchen. Lovely to have an outside space - a pretty courtyard with a table and comfy chairs. There is an ensuite wet room with the double , plus a large family bathroom . Only 2 of us but would be good for a family of 4 , too.

No parking - but we knew that and it is always the same in Tewkesbury . There are public carparks nearby and not too expensive.

We were due to arrive on the Friday and got informed on Tuesday that the property had been doubled booked. We were offered to book another weekend as a way of an apology at a cheaper rate. The weekend was for my husband, who had just come through a double major operation for cancer. The property was ideal has it was only 35 minutes away,as he can't travel far,but would have been a lovely break for him. I wouldn't be so angry if we had been told when we booked that there was a problem, it would have given us chance to find somewhere else,but because it was only two days notice there was nothing else available. In this day and age, these mistakes should not be happening.
