Great location and friendly staff.
However, the house is in need of updating. There was a persistent damp, musty smell throughout the property, which made it feel old and poorly maintained. It is not suitable for people who suffer from allergies. None of us felt comfortable sitting on the two old armchairs due to rhe dust. Upholstry needs replscing asap.Some of the cutlery was dirty. No pressure in the shower, struggled to wash hair.

It was in a great location and had everything we needed
The condition. It could do with an overhaul. The stairs were very dangerous. Very steep Our bed broke on the first night so we no proper sleep for the duration of our stay

Its proximity to the Centre of Chipping Norton
Parking was an issue. The house house was and smelt damp. Stairs were dangerous with lack of a decent handrail. Fixtures and fittings were poor. Decor was poor/ paint peeling off in the bathroom.

Good location, nice well equipped kitchen
Dark walls and old furnishings. Paint peeling off doors, dead plants indoors, terrible staircase needs more hand/grab rails. Only single quilts on double beds. Awful locked up basement, we did not know who or what was down there. The single bedroom was so creepy it would be like sleeping in a coffin. I kept that door closed throughout our stay. This cottage needs a revamp with new furniture and a change of colour scheme and do something about the basement
