The Van Gogh Apartment - a cozy, creative retreat

Appartement très cosy et bien décoré, à 15/20 mn du centre de Seattle La propriétaire nous a bien expliqué quoi voir à Seattle et comment s’y rendre. Lit très confortable et studio bien équipé.

Pas de chaises à l’intérieur pour manger, appartement trop chargé en effets personnels des propriétaires ce qui fait qu’on n’ose pas trop « s’installer » et crainte d’abîmer des choses. Un peu trop « chargé », et abords pas très bien entretenus mais on peut faire abstraction… quelques menus détails comme un lavabo bouché et une odeur de renfermé un peu gênante, une chaise extérieure cassée ( il n’en restait qu’une ) et enfin, logement situé sous le couloir aérien des avions qui décollent à proximité… oreilles sensibles s’abstenir 😔 Dommage,…

La struttura è molto bella, pulita e accogliente! La posizione è comoda e tranquilla! Karla è veramente un host gentile e presente. Uno dei migliori posti dove sia stato!

This was by far the best property I’ve stayed at!! We were only here for 2 nights, and it just felt like home right away. First of all, Karla is an absolute gem of a person. She is so welcoming and helpful if you need anything, and she gave us a bunch of cool spots to go to while we were in the Seattle area! She is clearly very passionate about making your stay comfortable, and isn’t just doing this for money (as I’ve experienced many other rental property managers do). As far as the basics go, the place is clean and well taken care of, and the bed and futon and lounge chair are comfy to sleep on (there’s even an extra mattress pad if you want it softer!). It is stocked with just about everything you need, and then some! There’s even cute special things like yummy jam, cool teas + local coffee beans. Karla has little label/ tent cards all over the place so you know where EVERYTHING is and how they work/tips, which is amazing and I don’t know why others don’t do that! Once you book she sends a video walkthrough, and there’s also a binder once you’re there with in depth info about how everything’s works/recommendations for what to do/ food to order from. And lots and lots of fun activities, everything from already logged into streaming platforms, an extensive array of board games and cool coloring pages, to regular painting supplies, to a collectively worked on Van Gogh paint by numbers that has been slowly worked on bit by bit by previous renters that you can add to (which has such a cool vibe of being a part of something). Like I said, it just has such a homey feel to it. It’s definitely not like a hotel that has that empty soulless feel, it feels special! AND there’s a hot tub which is the cleanest I’ve ever been in at a rental!! AND there’s a gym and she provides aerial silks classes. AND she leads an adventure group that you can sign up to join if you’d like!

Very cute and quaint. Loved the apartment and host Karla! House mate offered us a ride to the space needle and was a delightful co-host! Ty Mike!! Great neighborhood and an all around great time with my 16 yr old grandson who agrees!

The host is extremely kind and communicative. Even though we did not get the chance to meet her in person, she handled all of our problems and was pleasant to speak with. I am also very thankful for the price, as without it being so affordable, we may not have been able to stay in Seattle at all. 15 minutes away from the local bus stop that takes you downtown! This rental is also full of character!

It's hard to find anything to complain about. I did notice that around the toilet was slightly dirty when we arrived, but the rest of the place was spotless. Only potential downside is the distance from downtown and the fact that it's kinda in a food desert as there is only a McDonald's and a small grocery nearby. Not the host's fault, but something to keep in mind.

Hébergement pratique. Parking devant la maison. Jardin accessible et agréable. Karla est sympathique et disponible. La décoration, réalisée par l'hôtesse sur le thème des nuits étoilées de Van Gogh est réussie. La proximité du Museum of Flight est un bon point pour nous. L'appartement est bien insonorisé et filtre bien les bruits d'avions de l'aéroport proche. Nous n'avons passé que les nuits sur place. Plusieurs centres d'intérêt comme le Washington Lake sont facilement accessibles

Aucun problème à signaler. Il faut savoir en arrivant que le centre ville est un peu éloigné mais facilement accessible en voiture. Attention les parkings du centre sont généralement payants et chers.

Apartment: cozy, clean, and beautiful. I love all paintings. Kitchen: well-equipped, everything works. Countertop is truly a masterpiece! Utilities: internet, tv, netflix. All good!

Mattress was too soft, and the bed was squeaky.
