Madeline's View -a smart and modern 1 bed property with the bonus of a parking space on large private driveway area

The whole property was exceptional. We had a little problem with TV system but the owner sorted it as soon as we reported it. Majour plus points for the property are on sight parking, close proximity to Whitby and bus route past the door to save the climb from the harbour. A nice touch where the,blackout blinds on the bedroom window.

No squegie in the shower. Just joking but I can't think of anything else.

It is walking distance 20 mins to Whitby centre. It's a 5 min walk down to the beach (west cliff area) takes a bit longer going up the cliff walk as I'm unfit! The property had everything we needed, including kitchen utensils etc. This was Very much like a home from home experience. The property owner was around if we needed her but was not intrusive. Both the bed was comfy and the shower was hot.

The fridge has a small icebox compartment..if you were home cooking and staying for a longer period of time this may be problematic. It wasn't an issue or a complaint.

Location was excellent a nice walk to beach shops and bars.

To rate this property excellent it needed a few more items added as standard.for example only 1 x roll of toilet paper only 1 x dishwater tablet and 0 tablets for washing machine also no toiletries in bathroom. These few items would have given more of a welcome.

Perfect location and ideal for our stay. We found the facilities were ideal for us and just as we had hoped. Very helpful from the owners who were there if we needed anything.

Home from home. Beautifully presented and immaculately clean. Super comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and lovely attention to detail. Very conveniently located within walking distance of Whitby seafront (15/20 min walk). Thank you for the welcome tray of tea, coffee, biscuits, (salt and pepper), and milk in the fridge. Very welcome after our long drive. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous little apartment. Slightly out of the centre, with loads of parking, the apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean with a small parade of handy shops opposite. Would definetly stay again
