Some days the apartment was not cleaned. It had to take me to remind them twice for the apartment to be cleaned. For the entire period the swimming pool was not cleaned

Great location in Westlands, easily accessible. Very spacious apartment with fairly good quality furniture.

I was initially excited about this apartment and even considered making it my go‑to place whenever I’m in Nairobi. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several key areas. The check‑in process was tedious and unnecessarily intrusive. The final cost was also significantly higher than advertised on Booking.com (USD 88 instead of USD 56 in my case), with an unexpected USD 7 “insurance” or refundable deposit added on arrival. Cleanliness was inconsistent: the pillows themselves were dirty (though covered with clean pillowcases), and the floor was very dusty—likely due to ongoing construction works nearby, but still unpleasant. Amenities were minimal. Coffee, sugar, and tea bags were provided (which was appreciated), but no cooling oil, spices, or even basic salt. When I called in the morning to ask for some salt, I was coldly told it was “not part of the amenities,” with no effort to suggest where I could get some nearby. Pots and pans with wear scratches. Overall, the apartment has potential, but the poor service attitude, surprise costs, cleanliness issues, and lack of basic essentials make it hard to recommend in its current state.
