USI have stayed here several times and the hot tub and pool are quite amazing. The rooms are also very quite.
Nothing I can think of. This is not a luxury hotel, so the amenities for the price seem to be reasonable

DEThe staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, rooms were clean and the beds comfy.
The price I had to pay at the premises didn't match the price that was shown in booking.com, where I booked the stay. The staff explained to me, that this was due to local taxes, that needed to be added. The invoice also showed these taxes, so it's definitely a legit issue. However; in booking.com, the price was quoted including the state tax. Why is it not possible to also show the other local taxes there? We did not have such an occurence in the US before; always, the price shown in booking matched the price finally deduced by the hotel. Thus, it is not a common place issue. Bringing up the issue with booking.com customer service just got us a reply in Portuguese language (not sure why, I'm not Portuguese, the business is American ...), essentially saying the same thing; that this are local taxes that were added to the price later. My problem with this is, that you can't see these external costs when comparing prices in booking.com -- that way, the price here seems less than at another hotel, which includes local taxes in their quote on booking.com. In my opinion, this is also a fairness issue in comparison to other hotels around that location, who look for customers on booking.com.
