White Sands Village, Gorgeous 2BR, Top/Front Bldg

Location was great. The apartment is big. Would stay again.

We could not use the beach umbrella. It was cheap and it would not stay up. The kitchenware ,knives especially, could barely cut. These are just little things that would improve my stay.

The property was quiet and the grounds were well kept. It's nice to not hear people through the walls or above or below you like in a hotel. The location was good with a small beach across the street and a restaurant there as well. It's only a 5-10 minute drive to a grocery store and other restaurants and 10-15 minutes to Kailua for shopping and restaurants. There was plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and some don't even provide trash bags but this has everything including beach towels, cooler, beach toys, shampoo, soap, detergent. Parking is convenient under the building in the shade. The patio is huge but directly looks at the other building. You have to really angle yourself to see the ocean, but you can still hear the waves.

It looked like the smoke detector was not connected. I only saw one in the whole place and half of it was missing. The washing machine was great but there was mildew in it like it is never left open to dry out. There is also a vent in the master bathroom caked with at least an inch of dust. I have dust and mold allergies so those things should be addressed for future guests. The air conditioner worked well but it was so loud. You have to turn the TV up almost all the way to hear it when the air conditioner is on and talk over each other to be heard. Although there were many upright fans, there were no ceiling fans. Having to plug fans in all over didn't leave many available electrical outlets and there are cords all over. We had to unplug lamps in order to use fans which is inconvenient. Ceiling fans would be a huge plus. The closest door in the second bedroom is missing a piece so it swings out instead of being secured on the track. This wasn't exactly safe for younger kids.

What a great place. Clean, great lanai, comfortable furniture. Everything you need for cooking. We will be back.

The sliding glass doors were hard to slide. We wished there was a TV in both rooms. Needs more lighting in all rooms.

Location was excellent. There was everything to make our stay comfortable. The massage chair was super!

After traveling all day. We were so happy to open the door to this beautiful condo. It was so clean and inviting. We had all the amenities we needed. We spent mornings & afternoons on the beautiful lanai that looked over the pool & had a small beach view. Loved having white sands beach & restaurant right across the street. The food was very good. Would love to stay in this condo again.

The only suggestions I have.. It would be nice to have black out curtains in both bedrooms. The front bedroom: the sidewalk lighting was very bright at night & shined into the bedroom. The master bedroom: lights from the pool made it a little difficult to sleep.
