"Superb full house in excellent location for the Breacon beacons"

9.0

Fantastic property will all utilities included. Upon arrival the keys can be collected from the lockbox by the entrance (note the team was very friendly over the phone and WhatsApp and really helpful (thanks Lauren!)). The house is modern, plenty of rooms for many guests and our children did have plenty of fun in the house going up and down the stairs. Well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, toaster, microwave, kettle and all expected utensils, combined washer dryer and a clothing airer. The beds were very comfortable and the area was quiet so we all had a very good night sleep. Each room had bedding and towels were provided. TVs were available in each room although we only used the one in the living room to entertain the kids at night. There was also a garden, the kids had a wander around on the first day as we spent all days exploring Breacon beacons. Overall, the house was fantastic and covered all of our needs. I would definitely recommend this property if you're interested in visiting Breacon beacons.

Certain sections of the house require ventilation and bits of further maintenance such as the basement room and the toilet/shower room: due to the location (basement, next to the kitchen), there was a strong smell of humidity coming from these room once the door leading to them was open and maintenance is required for the shower room. We did not use these so it was not a problem for us but perhaps may pose a problem for larger groups requiring the use of all rooms in the house. Some other visitors highlighted the rubbish bins outside of the property being full upon arrival and this was the case for us too however I do believe this may not be a problem related to the property but most likely be a potential problem related to the local council, we did not see any waste collection in the area during our stay and furthermore the village (we did explore the surrounding area of the property on our first evening after arrival) is looking extremely run down (full of rubbish/fly-tipping, works waste and rubble, cans of drinks everywhere including the riverside - really sad) and unwelcoming, sad to say it is such a shame for this historic location (Aberfan disaster - note you may visit the memorial gardens nearby). Looking at those bits are our only suggestion for the management but overall we were very pleased and happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this property.
