Wisteria Barn, Trewethen, Nr Port Isaac

Hosts were absolutely lovely. The booking was clean in a lovely location. The stay went without fault and id recommend checking the stars out - we were awestruck on our walk back from the manor from the wedding we attended down the hill.

Wisteria Barn is tucked away in a quiet, rural location, however with lots of villages and towns within easy reach. I spent 5 nights here and explored the area with ease. The accommodation is great, really comfortable and very well equipped. Chis and Lisa were perfect hosts and very helpful throughout my stay. Thank you!

Beautiful location, tucked away on a farm, quiet and peaceful, hosts Chris and Lisa were wonderful, welcoming with lots of great information for places to see and food options, kitchen had everything to cook with but we chose to eat out at the local pub (excellent food). Very clean and fantastic shower too. Sadly didn't get to use the telescope as cloudy evenings. Hosts live nearby so are on hand if need anything. Very comprehensive info book in the accommodation. Nice fun personal touches around the place, particularly liked the trivia on the loo book.

Chris and Lisa were fantastic hosts. Even though we arrived after 11pm following an awful drive down from Manchester they were both awake to pleasantly greet us and hand over the keys. They went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our trip including some great local recommendations and even offered us a lift down the venue of the wedding we were attending. The building was beautiful, so called "Wisteria Barn" on account of the gorgeous purple Wisteria flowers draped all over the front of the building. The interior, stylishly decorated and with lots of nice little thoughtful touches such as some milk and local beers in the fridge, cotton pads in the bathroom and even a telescope in the shed for some star gazing! There was also really nice rain-style shower which even I at 6ft 5 comfortably fit underneath. We initially chose this accommodation for convenience due to the close proximity to a wedding venue but after such a good experience we'd love to make a trip back to do a bit more exploring of Cornwall.
