Maho Beach Grand Studio Ocean View

Last minute accomodation was found to be pleasant and in a good location.

We liked the ladies and Kayah. The view was very nice. The music from the Sand Bar was nice to listen to on nights they had a band. We could walk to several different places to eat.

I was under the impression we were staying at the Morgan and arrived at their facility, only to find out it is the Morgan, building 2 which is the Maho Beach Resort, no pool, gym or other ancillary facilities. We were very kindly informed we would not be able to use any of the Morgan's facilities unless we bought day passes for $60 each ($120 a day for the two of us. The Morgan staff indicated this happens on a regular basis and one gentleman went beyond and helped us lug our suitcases and groceries from his facility to building 2 next doors. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working at the time and we all had to carry these things to the 4th floor. At 68 that was huge undertaking.

We did not like most everything about the entire unit. This is not a luxury studio, but an oversized bedroom with a bathroom. The wanna be kitchen is completely nonfunctional, with the exception of running water in the sink. For the amount of money spent to rent this unit,it could be better equipped and a bit more personalized for the guests.

Elevator was broken the entire trip so walking up /down FOUR flights of stairs was NOT fun with heavy luggage… guess I was thankful my 91 yr old mother didn’t accompany us this time - we would have been unable to stay there

I only thing that was missing is the elevator

wasn’t much not to like but it’s can be difficult to get in from the main road if you’re not driving. there is water and sand in the road when the tide is in
