The Seaview Dome - Glamping at Karuna El Nido

A really unique property with amazing views. This is gains a few extra points regardless of anything else. You share a pool and restaurant with Karuna apartments yet we still found the pool area quiet and the staff here are excellent. The Dome is really unique and housekeeping staff very good.

This place could really be amazing and offer the level of luxury I feel the price demands with just a few tweaks. The windows of the Dome were a little dirty which ruined the view slightly, I would have thought these would be priority to be cleaned given it’s the main selling point, the gate to the dome didn’t close fully which took away some privacy and security. We found some of the organization and communication from the Glamping staff a little poor at times. We booked a floating breakfast through the reception yet the staff at the restaurant and pool had no idea the following morning. The property is 10 mins ride from El Nido town, there is a complimentary shuttle service until 10pm however on multiple occasions we were left waiting over an hour without good communication over wait times or what was going on, and ended up getting our own tuktuk. This wouldn’t be an issue however outside tuktuks are not allowed in to the complex and have to stop at the bottom of the hill at security, the hill is incredibly steep and likely unwalkable for many. You can get a lift up but again it will depend on the availability and could be left waiting.

It was as expected, lovely Dome with spectacular views. Staff and food excellent. Particular mention to Wilma & Jane in the restaurant.

I stayed in the dome it was amazing the location is the best in El Nido if I had know I would have stayed there longer!!! The swimming pool was amazing - the food was not great but the kitchen was closed due to renovation BUT outside there are so many beautiful places to eat so was not a problem. I can not stress enough how beautiful the view was I would stay here again when in El Nido 100% so safe and secure and quite at night. So many nice people stayed there too while we were there. Staff very helpful and always at hand. strongly recommend staying here when in El Nido - could not have asked for more!!!!

the food was not great due to kitchen closed breakfast was limited :( the shower was a bit small for me I am quite tall!

I like the view and the entire dome set up. Great place to visit and stay. It’s a must stay.

The staffs hospitality were very poor.

Everything about the stay was perfect. The staff were friendly and very obliging. The food was delicious. The location was perfect as it was just out of town, so it wasn't to busy. The hotel offers free transport to and from the town which works perfectly. My only issue was the air conditioning was very loud so at night it was quite noisy. But other than this, I cannot fault this resort.

The place was stunning with an amazing view. The room was well-organized with a large, comfortable bed. To go down to the city or return to the glamping, you need to notify the reception in advance, but they are quite responsive and arrive quickly for pickup. The pool and the restaurant are also excellent. Highly recommended!
