Nichts!

The decor was nice and the house was very spacious ! We also enjoyed the theatre room and the popcorn machine.

The game room had a water leak and there was water puddles on the floor. The floors in the house were not cleaned before our arrival. There was old trash and juice stains all over the floor. There were also several trash bags from the previous stay that was not picked up. We did not have any room to put our trash. It appears that the cleaners did a rush job on the cleaning prior to our check-in. However, management responded to our concerns and stopped by to address the concerns.

We absolutely loved our stay and were sad it was cut short due to the hurricane! The property manager or whoever responds to your messages was always super nice and helpful. The home was great! We felt very comfortable. It had plenty of space for our entire family. Each room was spacious. I loved the tall ceilings, the number of bathrooms, each room’s simple designs, the theater room, the little hidden play room for babies etc. Each room having a smart tv was great. We were able to easily stream or login to Netflix etc. in each room. That’s not always the case in vacation homes. We also loved the location! There were plenty of stores and gas stations nearby, Disney World wasn’t very far of a drive at all. We loved the fact that there were so many King size beds in the home. I would not change that at all! That’s sometimes a problem with large homes. There’s always tons of twins and bunk beds but never king size beds for other couples or adults…and what adult wants to be stuck in a room with a twin bed! Overall, we loved it! I had another home booked for our stay originally…but I randomly checked booking.com one afternoon and found this one that said it was normally sold out but had our dates available. I immediately booked it for our family and I’m so happy that I did!

I wouldn’t really say there were things I didn’t like…just some things could have been a little bit better or more clean. The chairs around the island in the kitchen were very worn and stained. The kids did not want to sit on them. The refrigerator had a shelf that was broken so that was space that was not usable. The shower still had someone else’s hairs on the walls. The trash situation - there is only space to throw out one 13 gallon trash bag per day. That may seem like plenty, but not for a home with 8 bedrooms and space for 16+ people. One additional trash bin could be helpful. We noticed that the other homes nearby each had 2 per home. The only other small things were: when we arrived, the code to get into the home did not work. I’d received a message saying the code was one thing, then another message saying it was something different. When we arrived, neither of those worked. I reached out to the property. Thankfully, they were SUPER quick with replying so I appreciated that greatly. They got me a new code and we were able to access the home but after a long day of exhausting travels and airport issues, that was a bit stressful and made us panic a little. As I said, it was quickly resolved! So, no issue. Things happen. It just would’ve been nice to have quick access without having to locate a number or message anyone. Lastly, this has nothing to do with the home but the security officer checking us in on the first night was very rude as if he was annoyed that people were checking in. He rolled his eyes and like huffed and puffed and barely spoke as if we all inconvenienced him. We also had some issues with the gate on a few days/nights. From the message, it seemed like after you checked in and provided your vehicle’s tag number…your tag would be scanned and automatically allow you onto the community at any time. However, it must’ve been a person controlling it.

The size

A lot of stuff was either broken or in need of being replaced. Springs were sticking out in bar stools. Pots and pans were beat up. Not enough towels for 10 people even though it sleeps more. One bed broke. Pool table wobbled etc. Just a lot of stuff needing to be replaced. We didn’t let it keep us from having a great time though. We had a great time.
