Beautiful property, spotlessly clean and everything you could want. Good off road parking and a nice enclosed garden. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if we come to Keswick

"Outstanding."

Excellent location in Keswick with the main town very accessible. The house was super clean and spacious with a secure garden for our puppy to play in. Ample parking also within the driveway while we only had one car you could easily fit three. The host was super helpful and in constant contact. We were very impressed and will be booking again soon.

No complaints really. We had a slight difficulty finding the property but it was minimal.

"Very good facilities with ample parking and an enclosed rear garden for the dogs."

The host had erected and decorated a Christmas tree for our stay 17-20th December. Biscuits, coffee and tea were provided.

The directions to the property were not very clear, the post code was only an indicator to the location. The route given was for people travelling from the north of Keswick, we travelled from the south.

"We wanted to move out as soon as we arrived and only stayed because we had already paid upfront."

Owner allowed us early check in. House was renovated and functional, with three bedrooms, a sitting room, well equipped kitchen, with washer and dishwasher etc. the wifi worked well. Nice bathroom and shower.

The main problem with the property was the mould. It smelt musty throughout. There were a number of plug in lavender air fresheners but they didn’t disguise the pervading musty/mildew. The smell in the sitting room and both bedrooms downstairs was overwhelming. The bedroom near the bathroom was particularly mouldy and the bedding and old mattress smelt heavily used. There was mould in the kettle when we arrived, as water had been left in it. The owner replaced the mouldy kettle. Overall the bedding, the curtains and decor in the sitting room and the downstairs bedrooms looked cheap, were unappealing and generally smelt mouldy. The property was also on a major road and difficult to find approaching from Keswick. The property had no street appeal because there was no front garden. The front was a car park which seemed to be shared with the next door property. Further, it was freezing when we arrived, with the thermostat and boiler on timers. Heating turned out to be ok once we managed to turn it on but it was quite complicated.

"Perfect!"

The property was beautifully clean. The views of the mountains out of the window were superb, beds were very comfortable and the smell of pumpkin spice topped it off beautifully. The host was fabulous and we will 100% be staying again it is amazing value for money and the house is absolutely beautiful.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about this property
