Luxurious showers New kitchen Seperate dining room Friendly community

could not use garden as over grown with weeds. we have 2 special needs children, they were disappointed. stairs really narrow, not legal in England, not sure how it is in wales Wales no safety locks on bathroom windows or 1st floor bedroom or twin bed room on top floor. fridge cold water dispenser broken, would of really helped with the got weather Had to wait hours in the heat, with 2 special needs children for code to get into property. looks shabby outside however inside is nicely laid out, downstairs bathroom beautiful large shower, however flooring is laid over uneven rubble, which I have video of and myself and my wife stubbed our toes on welcoming community, just a shame we could only spend a few days there.

"Disappointed"

Lovely walk from the house, using Komoot app. One little shop in the village, otherwise it was into Maesteg for pubs, takeaways and shopping, or further afield. Beds were comfy and showers worked well with good water pressure, even a bath in one of the bathrooms. The Prompt responses we received from the staff at SSW, they apologised and we sent photos, They said they would bring it to the attention of their external cleaning company.

When we arrived it had been a long journey and lots of busy traffic, so we were looking forward to a cuppa and chilling, but instead we spent the next hour, hovering, cleaning and washing up, there were bits on carpets that hadn't been hoovered like sweet wrappers, toenail clippings, cotton buds, beard shavings, we assume, food left in sink plug hole, food and crumbs in drawers, food on cutlery, cutlery container was dirty with food in the bottom. Slug trails all over the living room rug, big heavy grey cobwebs in several places. Too many long legged spiders to have just arrived for their holiday. The glasses and cups, plates in the cupboards all need washing. The accommodation itself looks like it's been rented in a hurry, unfinished, skirting boards missing, doors that don't fit door frames properly, no lock on main bathroom door, big trip hazard with no warning, between kitchen and dining room, obviously an extension but door frame between rooms sticking up. No drawers or cupboards in bedrooms. A hanging rail was it. VERY steep staircases of which there are 2 as it's a 3 storey property. No warning of this on the site, in our opinion totally unsuitable for very young or some older people, or those with poor mobility. Just a warning on site would be helpful. Fine if all you're expecting is a place to sleep. Not a home from home stay,

"Very clean, very small living space, booking longwinded, had to contact agents couple of times.. I'll just book a ho"

Easy access to forest /bike centre. Easy parking . Very clean, kitchen fully equipped

Living room was very tight for more than a couple. Wouldn't use for a family group due to living space.
