HABITACIÓN PRIVADA EN PISO a 10 minutos de Atocha

El aire acondicionado es central... no lo encendieron por la noche

La propietaria del piso es muy amable, en cuanto hemos tenido alguna dificultad, ha tratado de solucionarla (como por ejemplo el aire acondicionado, que es comunitario y se apaga a la noche, pero nos dejó un ventilador para poder hacer uso de él a la noche, durante el día no estábamos en la casa). La ubicación está en un barrio tranquilo, y con supermercados cerca, para estár alejado de Madrid, no estaba mal. El retrete al menos estaba en un baño privado separado.

Se oferta el servicio de cocina y no hemos podido entrar a la misma. Sólo teníamos acceso a una habitación y nuestro baño. Había una botella dispensadora de agua fría, pero no podíamos ni cocinar ni guardar nada en el frigorífico, tampoco hacer uso de cafetera.

La amabilidad de los dueños y su forma de tratarme me gustó mucho y se que volvería en cualquier momento

Was difficult to communicate with Esther, especially when I pointed out that it was written 12:00 checkout. She insisted on 11:00. I felt like being at home with a very strict mom.

Hosts were accommodating

Not as advertised. It is not a large apartment but a small single room in a home, with a bathroom down the hall.

The bed smelled clean. The wifi was free but very spotty and hardly working.

It is not worth it. I left early. Where do I start? 1. The hosts share the small apartment. The host is very nosy. She can't speak a word of English (which isn't a problem) but her behaviour was - e.g. she waited for me outside the bathroom. When I exited the bathroom, she had google translate ready which stated, "why do you keep turning the tap on and off" - I was having a wash! Another time she locked me out of the front door and when I was struggling to enter, she had google translate ready which stated that I was unable to use the fridge. 2. They have a very aggressive dog that bit my ankle (which they didn't inform me of - I am allergic). 3. She entered my room once I had left. I'm not sure if she went through my belongings but things had been moved about. 4. The shower broke whilst I was there, I don't think they are allowed to let this room to bookings.com as I was told to stay put in my room whilst they were fixing the shower. 5. I could not open the window shutters as they were broken so was left in a very dark room. I had to turn the light on, even during the day but the host told me to turn it off to save electricity. 6. Very far from the city centre and the closest metro is a 15 minute walk away in a very secluded area. Not good for young females/ tourists. 7. Tiny room. Literally no space to open my suitcase. Wasn't allowed to use the fridge and she was very funny about me using the bathroom. One one occasion, she waited outside the bathroom with bleach, gloves and a mask (I only used the sink to wash up!)

The host are really nice couple. I like their hospitality and sincerity. Which makes me feel warm in a unfamiliar place. When I was leaving, the hostess open the window and gave me a blowkiss.

They can't speak English, which makes it difficult for a Non-Spainish speaker hard to commicate with. There's no signboard. It took a while to find the hotel.

The place was very clean, and the host was very kind and helpful. I appreciate Ester for her great hospitality :)

Just I would recommend adding the address of the property in more details on the application, particulaly the number of building, the floor and door.

My hosts for this evening were wonderful and incredibly accommodating, they made an effort to help considering my Spanish is poor. The bed is very comfortable. I had to leave early so I declined the breakfast, but I was given something for my way. I would very much recommend this host.

I would have given a 10 if the smell of perfume in the bedroom and bathroom wasn't so strong. I slept with the window open, it was warm and comfortable enough. Everything else was so perfect.
