La casa dei sogni - great house closed to Meteora

The place is far from the city and the drive to it is dark, difficult and scary. There is no living soul around. We arrived in the evening in March, it was 2 degrees outside and the heating was not working. The owners did not give a solution, it was not possible to leave because of the difficult road, we had to sleep in the terrible cold with a small child! The fault was fixed only the next day, the owner promised a refund but so far no one has contacted

It was our family trip from Athens to Meteora as well as being our first trip to Greece. Our host, Eleni, was almost our tour guide, as she proposed what to visit first, and what to visit later. Then, she booked us restaurants for lunch and dinner, which helped us a lot, since not all the cafes were working during the winter, while there were tourists. She also provided us with clear instructions on how to get to the location. The house was clean, tidy and prepared for guests. The fireplace was ready, which was so great for the cold weather, and gave the feeling as if you were at home, and not somewhere between the mountains. We enjoyed our stay and the location. The view from above all the mountains is beautiful and memorable. Thank you, Eleni
