Spacious and Luxurious 5 Bedroom Town House for 9

The property is far from luxurious it was filthy. There were broken window handles, a broken blind that had been stuffed behind a radiator. The carpets were covered in stains and paw prints in one room. It smelt of smoke. The cutlery drawer was filthy and there was only enough cutlery for four not nine. We had to go straight to the supermarket to buy cutlery, bleach, washing cloths & detergent and a lighter to start the stove. We were told we’d be refunded but the owner has ignored the request. The WiFi went down at 9:30 one night and as there’s only non-terrestrial tv, we couldn’t watch the TV. We are 3 mums who bought our children away for the weekend to experience the the ski centre and fabulous parks nearby.

This host has other properties in the area, which allowed our team to have accommodation for the night after a mix-up on the host's end.

We arrived and people were occupying the property already. We had to contact the host and they said there had been a booking mix up. Luckily, they had another property for us to use, otherwise we would have been without anywhere to stay late at night. They offered a refund, which I appreciate but double-booking should not have happened in the first place. Bookings.com said there was space and we received automated messages for getting in the property. It took us arriving and contacting the hosts directly before they realised something was wrong.
