too steep hill up to the property and too far from the beach , main street, if you leave flat its' for the day as you dreading to come back because of the hill + 101 steps ( from the train st.to the town) it felt that flat was clean but tired and struggling to welcome the guests , not cozy at all, the curtains hanging untidy, no plug in the bathroom, bedroom lock did not lock, patio door did not lock , felt very insecure as there is an easy access through the first floor roof , we had to carry our valuables with us everywhere all the time ; all was mentioned to the host on arrival but not even a plug for bathroom was brought. Swimming pool far away from the property we did not even tried to go there

Views fantastic but complex situated up a very steep hill A wee bit tired in places (eg bedroom door framework loose) but nothing that detracted from our stay Outside light not working

The view and balcony was the only reason this trip got saved.

The place was dirty when we got there, the fridge had a massive block of ice which means , when we entered the place WE had to deal with the melting ice , so the floor was wet all the time, I took pictures of this. There was blankets in the wardrobe, we went to use it, only to find out there was a lot of dirty markings also took pictures of this. The blankets looked like it was from previous guests and not cleaned. When we arrived at the place the host gave us clear instructions which was good how to obtain the keys and how to get to the place but upon arrival the code to the master key was wrong so had to message the host very early in the morning to get the correct code not knowing if they would reply early in the morning or not, I do understand that we booked last minute but please don't accept the booking if the place is no where near ready for guest. Good points on host, host did reply soon as possible for the wrong codes in the morning although it was a stress full situation also requested a baby cot they sorted that out the next day, which was very good of them. This place has a lot of potential but got disappointed with the cleaning and fridge .

Easy communication with management in a mixed residential/ holiday let . It's a peaceful place with pool and excellent terrace with endless views over the Med. Train and bus lines nearby and although little steep to get home with grocery bags or from the beach, it's totally worth it once you step inside. Great stay, highly recommend.

Some furniture and appliances start looking out of date, time to update some of it.

Excellent setting - perfect for us as a couple. Poshest bit of the Costa del Sol, nice reasonable restaurant Bora Bora close by. Other holdaymakers were impressed by our find!Apartment has all facilities for comfortable sleeping, cooking, and dining on the extensive terrace. Good clear communication with Angel. Near Carvahal Station, so cheap and easy to get to from airport, Malaga and surrounding.

The hill up to the apartment from the station provides good exercise for we elderly holidaymakers. We're retired and could enjoy the challenge - it's not a problem - and we'd certainly come back.
