Easy to collect, met the owners at the door and they took me to the apartment to get the front door fob and show me the apartment door code

Proximity to the AO arena. Kitchen was clean.

Whatever the sheets and towels were washed in caused eczema flare up. Some cleanliness issues, like used condom under bed in a drawer. Also silver fish in bathroom. The workmen on the scaffold, although mentioned when booking, were very noisy. Loud music outside the bedroom windows and tradesmen shouting and swearing isn’t family friendly.

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Everything we needed was available. Could add some eggcups, small saucepan and small frying pan, dishcloths.

We would have liked to have mainstream television.

Perfect location very clean and tidey

There was scaffolding infront of the windows so couldn’t see out of and bar or somthing below with intimidating bounces asking us questions when just trying to get in and was loud in to the late hours but non of this the owners fault and is expected in a centeral location.

The location is good for Arndale/Printworks/AO area. But, beware this apt is on a VERY busy road & noise from people, traffic, bin lorries etc 24/7. Beds are very comfy! Lift access. Check in/out was smooth.

Host declined to advise there is building work on going, the building is encapsulated with scaffolding and there are workmen there all day, so you need to keep all blinds fully closed (as they can see directly in, they are literally 2ft from your windows) therefore living with no natural light. (We were told day before in a passing comment about finding the building that there was scaffolding up but not the impact). The wifi is very poor, most of the time the TV doesn't connect for streaming due to that. The host reset the router (so its obvs not in the aprt) and it worked for that day then dropped off again periodically. The TV doesnt appear to accept screensharing (assume wifi related). The wifi strength in the bedrooms is poorer still, pretty much doesn't work at all in master. The sofa in the lounge is terrible, uncomfortable. The windows in the master bedroom don't actually close so the road noise i mentioned is ridiculous, minimal sleep. The blinds don't fit the window correctly in the master bedroom so again with the workman, zero privacy. The kitchen is nice, basic. Small ironing board. Dishwasher & WM but no tabs etc. We booked an aprt rather than hotel so we'd the lounge & sofa/TV etc to relax, not able to relax in the aprt at all. Dark, noisey, poor sofa & wifi.
