Entire apartment close to downtown - 2 Queen beds

It was in a good location and it was quiet and we felt safe and it felt like a home away from home

The beds were hard and pillows too flat

The host was very flexible and accommodating. Highly recommend.

There was only one set of towels in the bathroom. For two people that's not enough. The beds were rather noisy with the springs squeaking while getting in, out or turning over int he bed. Other than that it was fine.

Decor, convenience, we felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood and walking to a breakfast restaurant.

Noticed an odd smell in entire apartment. My husband said it smelled like cat litter. I think it smelled like a bad roach infestation (although we did not see any bugs). Only 2 towels and 2 washcloths for 2 people for entire weekend, and one towel had a gross crusty spot on it. Long hair on one pillowcase upon arrival (we both have short hair) and another gross crusty spot on another pillow case. Street lights were incredibly bright at night, and the window blinds did very little to help that. Beds made a very loud sound with each little movement. Sleep was rough. Long hair in shower. We felt very uneasy, wondering what other microscopic uncleanliness we were coming in contact with. There was a container of coffee grounds, but not original packaging, so no date to tell how old it might be, and it was high up on a top shelf, almost out of reach, so I assumed it never gets used and is probably very old.

Fully furnished and comfortable apartment. Commutation is top notch! Even the shoe tray was a welcomed amenity after we’ve been at the fair all day! The neighborhood was quiet but well lit.

No particular dislikes. We few of the steps towards the top are not completely flat from being weathered but we navigated them ok.
