Beautiful location tucked away up on a hill. About a mile and a 1/2 mellow walk to downtown. Great view of Shasta on the property

We loved the seclusion and location where we could walk our dog. I had made an error in booking, and we were able to quickly rectify it. The view of Mt Shasta is atunning!

Fred and Mary were great hosts and went above and beyond for us! It was far too hot to use the sauna but we loved the outdoor area with the amazing mountain view, and it was great to have access to Netflix as we cooled down at night. They also put the aircon on in advance which we were v grateful for.

There were a couple of lightbulbs out in the bathroom which made the lighting not the best in there but it was v minor.

Loved the location, the view of Mt Shasta, the kind hosts, the fairy garden, all the wonderful and thoughtful amenities such as natural soaps and cleaners, well-stocked kitchen appliances, and the jacuzzi tub was great for relaxing sore muscles after a day of hiking.

The bed was a spring mattress which was too soft for my back, but otherwise just fine- nice and big

It was unbearably hot when we arrived and no windows were open to air it out in advance nor was the a/c on. Also, there was some kind of makeshift curtain outside the entrance that had torn and couldn’t be retracted so we had to keep working around it to enter and exit. There was no one around to ask any questions, nor a guide to the unit. And I swear I had booked the other unit, so it felt very cramped inside. Luckily it was only for one night and we spent as little time there as possible.
