"Staff are nice but resort lacks amenities that would be expected at this price point."

7.0

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food was good. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the air conditioning worked really well which is important in Chitwan. We did a half day and a whole day private jeep safari. Our guide was knowledgeable and worked to make sure we saw as many of the animals as possible.

The resort is fairly remote so you have to eat there. For our stay all of our food, drinks, and activities were priced separately which made the cost increase. The resort lacked any real amenities. If you were not on on a safari or other activity there was nothing to do. The rooms do not have TV and wifi can be spotty away from the main lodge which is not air conditioned. There is no pool though they are building one. The rooms were large but as a party of 3 we had to have 2 rooms as none would sleep 3 people in 2 beds. The extra room added to the cost. While a nice room and friendly staff it seemed pricey for what you got.
