Characterful Cottage near the Sea, Beach, Pier & Shops

We have had another wonderful stay can't wait to go back

There is nothing to dislike

the location is shabby/scruffy

very strong smell of damp. I washed some clothes while I stayed there and they smelled of damp. I stayed in January the place was freezing! temp was set at 8 degrees and took days to reach a comfortable temperature. When I woke up in the morning my nostrils were filled with the smell of damp. Black mould on the window frames, a hot cloth and bleach spray would not go a miss. I strongly suggest the owner install a security light as at night the path to the property was pitch black, I had to navigate using the torch on my phone.

It is a quirky little cottage tucked away from the street, & only a 2 minute walk to the town centre. Lovely little balcony to enjoy a coffee in the morning sun. Plenty of on street parking nearby, really comfortable beds, good heating & excellent communication from Henry. Everything we needed for an overnight stay to visit family in Weston Super Mare.

location, character of the property, the balcony. reasonable price. lots of room.

parking is restricted in the daytime on Street outside the heating had been turned off upon arrival and as it was a very cold feb night it took a long time to warm up. there was washing drying in the living room and there was open milk in the fridge

Excellent location. Convenient for the shops, takeaways and beach.

The entrance via the alley is dark - could do with lighting.

The cottage was a hidden gem and perfect for us for a relaxing night away, our boys especially loved the spiral staircase! It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and we will return again in the future.

The properties on the main road adjoining the path to the cottage were very run down with rubbish everywhere. Whilst it's no fault of the host it wasn't a great first impression.
