4 bed rooms 5 double beds holidays house near train station

The location looked a bit scruffy when we arrived but the neighbour's were lovely and the location was fantastic, Plymouth was walkable easily so was the creamy ferry and there was a really nice sainsbury's just 10 minutes away

The keys for the door are not for the front door but for the next door in. My husband thought the keys didn't work at first but then I just opened the door to reveal the actual locked door.

Ideal for short stay for large family group

The car parking was an issue as it was all permit parking. We applied for the permits but council refused as we were not residents.

Clean, spacious and the host generously left some goodies for our arrival.

Water pressure in the toilets needs looked at, needed 2 or 3 flushed.

Reasonably priced for July and lots of space.

Garden was filthy with beer cans and cigarette butts. Beds really uncomfortable and could feel springs in the thin mattresses. Parking outside is awful even though it cost £30. People outside the property coming and going at all times through the night. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and should be advertised as same. Host aware a member of the party was disabled.

The host was in the street when we arrived and helped to ensure we got in ok. I then received a message with contact details if required during our stay. The house is well situated, less than 5 minutes walk to the train station and 10 minutes to the city. We were visiting a relative in hospital and the house is just a 10 minute drive from Derriford Hospital. Beds were comfy and the showers in both bathrooms were good. A quiet street just off of Central Park which is perfect for a stroll. A nice little back yard which got plenty of sunshine during the day.

The road has permit parking which is a bit inconvenient. The hosts kindly offered us a permit for £5 a day but we were able to find free on street parking at the bottom of the road without too much difficulty.

The house was clean, tidy, and welcoming. We were given everything we needed for our short stay, and our expectations were exceeded as the cost was lower than other properties we had looked at, but the house was amazing. Based on what our needs were, we couldn't fault anything.

The only negative was that the bedroom door for the bedroom off the sittingroom didn't shut properly and we couldn't lock it, so privacy was a bit of an issue as we were staying with extended family.

Great location for Home Park. Large house, good facilities, 2 x bathrooms, 4 x bedrooms.. Host was very communicative. Would definitely stay again.
