The overflowing garbage and boxes outside the property, the eggs on the stove, unmade beds, dirty used towels in the middle of the floor, crumbs in the tables and floors, dishes in the sink, fill garbage and towels in the bathrooms, already unlocked back and side doors and the scent of the home that the owner acknowledged was there from not being done days ago as it was supposed to be. I did not the the treatment of the owner of the property who tried to find a fault in the policy in order to remove us from the home once we communicated and sent pictures of the condition of the home. We pointed out how the booking discrepancy could have happened as well as that his description of the home listed a few misleading details and instead of settling amicably and processing our refund the host possess an accusatory tone whereas we were patient, respectful and understanding. The property was not in decent condition at all and a resolution was not met maturely.

CAUSLiked the house itself. The location was good for our needs. The cinema is cool. Snacks and coffee were enjoyed. Decor and furniture is nice.
The roku remotes did not work in the cinema. We tried for a while. The place wasn't ready when we arrived and was dirty from the last people so we couldn't catch a breath before taking care of the business we came in town for because we wanted to get out of there so they could get it cleaned up. The hot tub was absolutely nasty and something I wouldn't put someone I didn't like in. Green water with scum around the edges. The backyard area was set up cool but was a total disaster with coushions and covers everywhere so we didn't opt to sit out there. The host was responsive to the cleaning issue with the beds and gave us a heads up there was a cleaning issue as we were rolling into town in separate vehicles. Was polite and kind. But for the value, we all thought it was overpriced by a couple hundred dollars for a night.
