Bay Tree Lodge: Lakeside lodge w/hot tub & cinema surround sound

Absolutely immaculate. Everything you could wish for was there. Absolutely amazing place. Can’t wait to go back.

Nothing. It was perfect

The property was excellent and in a perfect location to access the centre of Woodall Spa within mins even when walking, we took the dog and there were perfect walking locations very close. Site was very clean and tidy and everyone was very friendly, I thoroughly enjoyed the time we were there, would definitely return.

Some of the pubs and bars did not allow dogs inside, which did cause us some issues at times, but this was not the owners fault.

Located adjacent to a small lake within a secured compound. Seemed quite a drive to get in but a couple of short cuts explained by the host made it easy to reach the nearby pub, play park as well as the town itself.

To be honest - nothing. The host had thought of everything including a welcome pack. Thank you.

The whole property was fantastic it was home from home. The little touches like a decent hair dryer and hair straighteners. Popcorn machine hot tub was all great. The host Glen was amazing very friendly and welcoming into his lodge.

That we had to leave to go home.

Well equipped, lovely and quiet. Lovely welcome pack from the owner. Always nice to have the bare essentials like toilet paper and washing up stuff when you have travelled a long way and not had time to buy essentials.

Might have been me but I didn’t get any surround sound from the TV. Lovely large tv screen with usual smart tv apps but would have been nice to get normal terrestrial tv. There is a tv aerial but no rf lead between wall socket and tv. Picky point but would have been nice to just switch the news on at 9 or 10. Still a lovely place to stay. One other mute point was that there was a washing machine, which was great, but would have been handy to have a washer/dryer or a clothes horse to dry washing.

The location, woodhall spa is a lovely quaint town with lovely shops and places to eat. The lodge felt luxurious, great home cinema with netflix available, nice little touches including a welcome box with essentials and treats. The hot tub is relaxing looking over the lake.

Great location and the lodge was really tasteful and comfortable with the bonus of a lovely hot tub. Host really helpful. The welcome tray was so thoughtful and much appreciated.
