Braeside Shepherd's Hut - Greenhead - Hadrian's Wall - Northumberland

We thought this shepherd hut was absolutely fantastic. Everything had been thought of! We had our own entrance to the garden with firepit, wood, and even marshmallows if you wanted them. A basket of breakfast cereals supplied with a pint of milk, which made a fabulous cup of tea too. The shower was lovely and warm, as was the towel rail. We would definitely stay again! Communication was excellent!

Lovely little Shepherd hut with its own garden space and gorgeous views. Decorated beautifully by our super welcoming host. We have already said we will come back to explore the area a little more as its close to Hadrians wall and a roman fort with lots of walking trails nearby.

Beautiful little cottage, cosy and quiet, surrounded by nature. It’s very clean, everything seems brand new and you have all you need! Loved the garden and the view from the windows. The fire pit was a nice touch, although I didn’t get a chance to use it!

What a beautiful shepherds hut, really well thought out with everything I could have needed. I received a very warm welcome and shown how everything worked. The host didn't bat an eyelid at my wet clothes and walking boots, just gave me some newspaper to stuff the boots with! Lots of cereals, hot drinks and treats provided. The bed was large and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Just off the Pennine Way so good for walkers. Nice pub down the road for food and drinks (do book for dinner).

Everything was perfect. No TV which might bother some people but wasn't an issue for me.

Wow what an amazing property. The views were incredible and the whole experience was outstanding. The attention to detail was unbelievable with a small basket of treats and even marshmallows for the fire pit.

Brilliant facilities making brilliant use of the small size of the hut. Very cosy and lovely views. Sam was very helpful with sorting out food as we walked there. Ideal stop off from the Hadrian’s Wall Path.

Everything. Property was beautiful and clean. As I was walking Hadrians Wall when I arrived the owner kindly took me to the local supermarket so I could stock up on supplies. There was also a lovely welcome pack with snacks. Highly recommend to anyone.
