La Casetta Linda - New 2 Bedroom Apt in Sorrento with seaview Terrace

Check in was a little clunky. Was raining when we arrived; maps took us to a slightly different location (around the corner from actual location) and we had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to let us in and show us around Host was responsive by text within a few minutes

The location was amazing and the property was very clean and bright.

This is advertised as new, but it is definitely not new. The building is oldee and the halls are dark.

Shower pressure Couldn’t figure out how to open blinds in the kitchen - it would be helpful to have a tutorial in the apartment!

It’s in a convenient location with short walking distance to Piazza Tasso. There’re grocery shop downstairs and a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. They park the car for you with 25 euros a day. You let them know 1 hour ahead of when you need the car. And they pick up your car wherever and whenever you want them to pick up. We love that service. Usually after going out of town, we ended up at Piazza Tesso for dinner. So we called them, they came in like 15 mins.

It’s minor things like the girl who greeted us would have been more patient. She kinda hurried us to move. Maybe because she’s been waiting for us for awhile and we got lost. Of course, we don’t live there! And also, she needed to response to question in the What’s app in less than an hour time, not 1-2 days.

Loved Linda’s home. It’s a cozy home with everything we need. I would live there.

The property is close to the center and the bus- train terminal.

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of Sorrento. Supermarket was right below us. All restaurants, shops, gelato within minutes. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The apartment was modern and clean. The owners were very accommodating. I hope to visit again one day and I will definitely contact Giuseppe and Raffaele!

Great location, great host!

The property is managed by a company called Sorrento Vibes. The properties they manage are beautiful, some very pricey and offer a concierge type service ie: arranging transfers, tours, etc. If ever in the area again I will go straight to Sorrento Vibes for my trip planning as my experience with them has been good and attentive. I booked Linda's Home thru Bookings.com While clean and nicely tiled I am not sure this particular property meets the full standard I would hope to find in their other properties. My choices were quite limited at the time of booking as we had intended to go to Cinque Terre but realized too ambitious for my 82 yo Mom with all the steps and longer train travel. I am glad we choose Sorrento as absolutely Beautiful! Was a great was to decompress from being in Rome as we were non stop. The Private Beach Clubs of Sorrento were a wonderful way to unwind.

Linda's Home appears to be in and surrounded by residential properties. The view from the back patio overlooked untidy patios filled with what wouldn't fit inside. Also the back patio of this unit was used as storage for this unit and most cabinets inside were locked and inaccessible as if used to store things for their other properties. While beautiful tiled the bathrooms were less than dependable. The hallway bathroom toilet stopped working one day but worked the next and the shower filled with water. The other bathroom sink backed up. The water temperature fluctuation in the shower was extreme and needed constant adjustment, so if travelling with children you would want to monitor. The shower in the main bedroom was quite small, I am quite petite and found it difficult to move around. Since not near a coffee shop I would recommend a coffee pot that made more than one cup of coffee at a time as the process is long and made it impossible to enjoy coffee on the patio with my 82 yo Mom and 34 yo Daughter. We had just spend 5 nights in Rome enjoying nearby coffee shops as well as a multi option coffee set up in the Airbnb.
