Antique M1 R1 - Amazing Double Room with shared Bathroom in Marques Pombal

It's a typical shared apartment with a few rooms, a shared kitchen, and two shared bathrooms. Overall, it was comfortable; I wasn't too hot or cold. The metro is literally 5 minutes away, so you can easily walk. There's good internet. There was no staff, but that's a plus, as email support was always available.

Positives: 1. The room and kitchen were very clean. 2. Kitchen appliances are generally in a very good state and the kitchen is large and comfortable. 3. The location allows for easy transport and is safe at night. 4. The contact with owner is quick and convenient. 5. The overall quality is good comparing to other rooms at this price. Neutral: 1. The apartment is in basement level, so the window in the room was on ground level on the street. Because of this, there is some noise coming from the street every night, so it is not possible to sleep with the window open. 2. There is no air-conditioning in the room apart from the fan (which was sometimes not working). Since the window opens up to the street level, you generally don't want to open it, so it is difficult to ventilate the room when it's hot. 3. The water is heated by a gas heater, and it sometimes randomly turns cold. Usually it was enough to turn the water off and on a couple of times to get hot water again.

Negatives: 1. There is mold in the bathrooms, even though the appliances are relatively new and generally clean. It seems that there is not enough ventilation. 2. The bed was very creaky. This is an issue for a light sleeper. I was waking up at night frequently because of this.
