Great Caravan With Spacious Decking Southview Holiday Park, Skegness Ref 33035V

On arrival before entering the property the gate on the decking was broken damaged furniture was left on the deck the deck itself was filthy no outdoor chairs were provided. The boiler kept cutting out Wifi did not work 4G was patchy to say the least. The dining room table was unstable I did not need the two chairs at the back but i would be worried if i has kids with the glass top

Caravan was clean and spacious Maintainence team were fast to react polite and very helpful

Found too many faults. 1. Central heating boiler fault 2. Dining table very wobbly and did not seem safe to use 3. Cooker oven door fell off as hinge was broken. Other faults that were sorted were A broken toilet seat Kitchen lights Not able to light gas rings on cooker

Hot water when on and off while showering and master bed you could feel every spring in the mattress

Caravan was really nice from the outside, corner plot was really good also on a nice site shower was amazing

On arrival caravan didn't look like it had been cleaned after last occupants. Dog hair everywhere not even hoovered. Massive stains on carpets, sofa bed full of dog hair. Gate latch broken not all lights worked with one still having shattered bulb in. Glass dining table unsafe to use as all loose and wobbly bathroom sink taps covered in grime, mold in the shower. All mattresses uncomfortable. Childs single bed had a random spring sticking in childs back. Poor shoddy appearance especially in the living area this is a real shame as could be a lovely van if more attention to detail and the little things are addressed drastically needs modernising. Has to hoover when we arrived before we could unpack to find hoover blocked so had to unblock hoover before we could use. Better hoover needed. No where to sit outside in the sun needs deck chairs ect, shower drain is really slow and runs out onto the floor and floods just where the steps are.

Location great caravan well situated on camp

We didn't stay in the caravan we booked due to a boiler problem so we had to move but the lodge we went in was lovely 😊 only thing I have to complain about was the moving and waiting and not getting into the caravan we moved into till later after I paid for early check-in but no fault of the owners they were amazing

I didn't like the fact we had to move after unpacking then having to packup and move then waiting to get I to place we had been moved from no fault to owner he was amazing but I paid for early check-in but wasn't in early in the end and also when holiday homes are advertised they should say that the site there on when facilities are open , as disappointed none of the facilities were open 😳 so had to drive out to go to shops and eat

The heating should have been turned on in the morning, as everything seemed damp . But after a couple of hours with the central heating on I it soon aired out and didn’t spoil our short break.

Caravan lovely very basic no home comforts sqeeky doors and main mattress
