Access to a gym. Ability to self cater. Reasonable price.

Quite hard to park is the only slight criticism.

Very clean and comfortable and spacious. Only 5 minutes away from our son’s house.We felt at home straight away even though nightmare traffic meant we didn’t arrive until the next morning!! The house was very warm and cosy on our arrival. Comfortable beds and furniture. Nice little garden that the dog loved- lots of sniffs! Not far from excellent park.

Very little cutlery- only 2 knives! We had to borrow some items. Due to very recent storm damage the garden was not completely secure and I did clear up broken glass.

Clean, cozy, everything. Was not expecting to get such nice place to stay.

There a couple of things that would make this property a better experience for the next visitors 1) kitchen and bread knives - we could not cut our bread for toast!! There are none in the property 2) Only tumblers, no wine glasses for drinks 3) address the damp in the back bedroom and the bathroom.

The property was clean and the location was great in terms of quiet road and access to amenities.

The app for booking. There was a lack of glasses, no cooking utensils such as peeler, knives, chopping board. There were no instructions of how things worked or information about local area. The barbecue was filthy, although this was rectified when I complained. There should have been a warning about the steepness of the stairs. It was such a shame that the whole experience seemed very impersonal as any of the above issues would have felt less significant.

The property is incredibly cozy, making it a true home away from home. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the local amenities and places of historic significance. For racing enthusiasts, Donington Park is just a quick 10-minute drive away. We did encounter a minor issue with the TV, but within minutes, the host and her mega-cute son were at our doorstep to resolve it. Their promptness and kindness were greatly appreciated and truly exemplify their dedication to ensuring a wonderful stay for their guests. The host is simply amazing—attentive, welcoming, and always ready to help. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will unquestionably stay here again. Highly recommended!

The stairs are somewhat steeper than one would expect however saying that it is perfect keeping with the period and character of the building
