The regency nest felt like a home away from home. It was beautifully clean and had all the amenities we required for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy and the decor really nice. The location was perfect for town, and the buses and trains. Communication was fantastic. We just loved it here!

My two teenage sons and husband are 6ft + so the low ceiling on the staircase was a downside ( when they forgot about it and bumped their heads). However, we chose the apartment knowing about this and there was a sign! But could not find another fault.

Excellent location, right in the centre and near the Parade but quiet. Spacious (four adults staying). Well equipped. Plenty of communal seating and good sized bedrooms. Very clean. Really nice to have all the streaming services available on the TV. Very good street parking availability. Lovely touch to have a bottle of wine and sweet treats waiting for us.

Health and safety notices were lacking regarding the very low ceiling above the stairs. A notice was in place for coming down, but not for going up - both adult sons hit their heads, one quite badly. Also a notice is needed inside the bathroom warning about the step down coming out (we all tripped on that). There were instructions for heating but nothing about hot water, which ran out in the evening so could not have a bath. A minor point - the furniture arrangements in the living/dining room meant that watching TV was awkward, and the main sofa could not be moved - suggest shifting things around so that one doesn't get a crick in the neck.
