Beach Vibes in Southend-On-Sea by Artisan Stays I Free Parking

Unfortunately it is not as it looks in the pictures. I have taken pictures if anyone would like to see. Also the aggressive tone from the host says it all. I selected 3 children and gave there ages 5 yr old 4 yr old and 8 month old otherwise why would we ask for the cot which does say you will provide if asked. It's the truth we were only visiting a friend locally and stayed 2 nights hence we booked last minute but the pictures are really not what the property is. Feel free to ask me for them. The host says we were pestering them for days as we booked last minute on Wednesday for a Saturday arrival this is not true. We just want anyone with small children with breathing difficulties to be aware but the black mould is apparent. What I will say is the host was good we asked for an earlier check in if possible and granted that so very appreciative honestly we are but we didn't need it in the end. They have brand new clean carpets in so can also see they are making an effort. It's only because we have kids and it is disheartening. The cot was placed for us in the smaller room which we did think was odd but we understand now as they must be aware of the cigarette smell in the larger room. The window is also left on the latch due to the smell and damp.

There is a clear mould damp problem and dehumidifiers popped in for this as well as a very strong stale cigarette smell from the front room. More of an old student house. Like I said it was a last minute booking literally 2 days before and we defo did not pester anyone. Which I am disappointed to read about us. I have a very young family and too busy for that if anything. I did think when we booked why only 2 reviews from the previous year and also the other person only mentioned the parking and the comments left about that guest seemed abit off for just mentioning something about the street parking. You can also here the guests in the flat above and you could feel the bed springs in the mattresses.

Property was very cleaned and big to accommodate family of 5. They provided cereals and coffee pods too. The apartment was very convenient location for beach goer and for supermarket too.

Generally, the property is nice and functional. Kitchen was well equipped and the host was very responsive

Parking was a bit of a challenge as the street is quite narrow and always full. Wi-Fi signal was very weak from the room furthest from the lounge. It would also be nicer with a slightly bigger TV.
