Esther an husband was very friendly always checking in on us an willing to help when we needed anything. Had a relaxing birthday weekend will definitely recommend this place

The Area were good.

The host were very unfriendly. Unpleasant stay cause the host did not make us feel comfortable. Did not even provide us with toilet paper the last day as we requested. Bedding had to stay clean even if we used it. My daughter messed a little makeup on the duvet and I had to take it to the laundromat or buy a new one according to her.

The host was really friendly and helpful. We have two cars and we could park it in the property. Very private and comfortable. The area is lovely. Load shedding was also not a problem. Overall a lovely stay and would have stayed longer if it was available.

Not too serious, but a smart TV would have been great.

The hosts were excellent. The chalet was clean. The bedding was clean, and of good quality. The chalet was well equipped and had everything needed. I must congratulate the owners what they did with the available space. The location was perfect with easy access to the N1.

Aircon was great and necessary, but we were asked not to use it during load shedding ……. If we pay for it, it should be available at all times …..

Everything. The place, very lovely and furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The environment, the area, but most of all, Esther. She is so welcoming. She has a heart of gold. She welcomed us with a smile and we could feel the warmth of her heart. She checked on us frequently and even gave us tips on which places to visit. Aan de Weg was our home away from home. The family gave us privacy, but also treated us like family. We felt safe and welcome. My girls enjoyed the place and said they missed it as sòon as we got home. Esther offered to do our laundry whenever she did hers. On the day of our departure, she prapared us some snacks for the road. Our stay was outstanding, and we know where to go whenever we visit Cape Town, to our home-Aan de Weg! ❤️

Both Esther & Jan were exceptional hosts, always checking in if we were happy and comfortable with our stay. The cottage provided us with all the basic amenities we needed for our nostalgia break.
